Cody joined SKY Engineering in 2018 and has since become a key contributor to the firm’s mechanical design team. After earning his degree in Mechanical Engineering from Western Kentucky University, he transitioned into a full-time role where he continues to expand his expertise in HVAC and plumbing system design.

Cody is involved in projects from early design through construction documentation and coordination, providing practical, efficient solutions tailored to each client’s goals. He earned his Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification in 2019 and remains committed to delivering technically sound, code-compliant designs that are both functional and constructible.

In addition to his design responsibilities, Cody serves as the firm’s primary resource for BIM coordination. He works closely with architects, contractors, and other trades to ensure models are accurate, coordinated, and aligned with project requirements, helping to minimize conflicts and streamline construction. He also utilizes 360-degree photography in the field to enhance site documentation, improve communication, and provide clients with clear, detailed project records.

Outside of work, Cody values time with his wife, Chanda, and their two daughters. He enjoys playing and following basketball, spending time outdoors, and relaxing with video games. He is also an avid collector of sports cards, a hobby that reflects his appreciation for both the history and detail behind the game.
