Karlo joined Sky Engineering in July 2021, bringing with him over a decade of experience in mechanical engineering and construction. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Pensacola Christian College in 2010 and later completed his MBA at Western Kentucky University in 2014.

In 2015, Karlo relocated to Des Moines, Iowa, where he began working as a Project Engineer for a general contractor. He later transitioned to a large MEP contractor, supporting project managers through submittal preparation, drawing development and review, equipment procurement, manpower scheduling, and preliminary mechanical design. Through this work, he gained valuable experience across healthcare, education, and data center projects, while strengthening his proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Stratus, Revit, and Procore.

After six years away, Karlo and his family returned to Bowling Green in 2021, where he joined Sky Engineering. In his current role, he contributes to mechanical design development across a variety of project types and continues to expand his technical expertise and industry knowledge.

Outside of work, Karlo enjoys spending time with his wife and three sons, staying active in his church where he serves as the worship leader. He also enjoys working on projects in the garage and exploring Kentucky’s back roads with his family.
