Preston joined SKY Engineering in May 2024 and currently serves as a Mechanical Engineer in the firm’s Owensboro satellite office. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kentucky in 2019 and has since accumulated six years of professional experience within the MEP and ESCO industries. In September 2023, Preston achieved Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure, further demonstrating his technical expertise and commitment to professional excellence.

Preston brings a well-rounded background in project development, energy-efficient system design, and commissioning, allowing him to deliver comprehensive and holistic mechanical and plumbing solutions. His responsibilities include collaborating with project stakeholders to develop design concepts and producing detailed, engineered construction documents to support a wide range of mechanical and plumbing systems. He is dedicated to creating efficient, reliable designs that align with project goals, code requirements, and long-term performance expectations.

Outside of his professional role, Preston resides in Owensboro with his wife, Amanda, where they are raising their family of four. He is actively involved in his faith community and values time spent with family. In his free time, Preston enjoys golfing, camping, and tackling home improvement projects together with his family.
